Collar with Chains

Designed in collaboration with contemporary consume designer Ursula Bucek for her ‘To Have & To Hold’ collection
Styled with Ursula's beautiful garments, featuring photography by Sylvie Martin
Featured in Emerging Artists Collective x Melbourne Fashion Week runway 2025

Here's how the Collar was made ...

Debossed lace doily pattern

Nickel Silver plate is annealed. Lace doily layer on top of plate, and put through rollers. Repeat several times to create a unique debossed design

Forged into a collar shape

Annealed. Rounded on a tree stump, then bangle mandrel. Flared at the top and base. Oxidisation polished off

Rosary style closure system at the back

This unique closure system opens and closing from 3 different points, allowing chains and trinkets to drape from the back of the neck piece

Chains hung from the collar and draped around the bodice

Adorned with trinkets, and Sylvie Martin's photography showcased within miniature frames and lockets

Designed in collaboration with Ursula Bucek

Worn with Ursula's handmade blue corset. Featuring Sylvie Martin's photography printed on the fabric
